Volare is a 10-year-old, 15 hands Paso Largo with naturally smooth, comfortable gaits and an impressive ability to cover ground. Originally trained in western disciplines, he is currently being tuned up in dressage training with a professional trainer and has developed a solid foundation in both disciplines. Volare is a sensitive, responsive horse who moves willingly off leg aids and can be ridden with or without consistent contact. He is forward-thinking and enjoys having a job, making him an excellent prospect for trail riding, pleasure riding, or continued development in a training program. He has been shown at local dressage competitions and has traveled off-property to clinics with Wylene Wilson and Kamri Johnson, gaining valuable experience in a variety of settings. Volare is best suited for a confident amateur or experienced rider who appreciates a sensitive horse and can provide consistent riding. He is a horse with personality who thrives when kept in regular work and enjoys having a clear job to do. On the ground, Volare stands well for the farrier and bathes quietly. He currently has trailer-loading challenges and can be sticky about loading, especially with ramp-style trailers. He does have some trailer trauma from a past experience which is why he struggles with trailer loading. This is an area where additional training and consistency would be beneficial in his next home.  Volare would make an excellent trail partner or horse for someone looking to continue his education in a consistent program. Due to his sensitivity and training needs, he is not suitable for beginner riders.”
