Rolo Was Created as a Weapon?! | MAD • Chapter 54 Review

#manga #anime #mangareview #MAD Leon and Rolo’s conversation in MAD Chapter 54 left me feeling pretty unsettled. We finally start to get a glimpse of how Rolo may have been created, and there’s definitely room to interpret it as some kind of space force designed to cull planets. What really stood out to me is that Rolo somehow knows Madora was sent somewhere different and ended up with different powers. He also tells Leon that he saw Leon kill Madora in a vision, but even that isn’t completely reliable. The vision is fragmented, and Rolo admits it may only be one possible timeline. It feels very Doctor Strange-esque, where the future exists as multiple possibilities rather than one fixed outcome. Leon obviously wants to be a hero, but if the story eventually turns him into some all-powerful king hellbent on revenge, that feels a little too basic for me. This chapter planted a lot of new seeds, though, and now I want to see whether Yusuke actually develops them into something deeper. Please like and subscribe!
