BINDING A QUILT | QUILT LABEL: EASY BABY QUILT TUTORIAL

In this tutorial I show you how to bind a quilt and how to add a quilt label. In our previous tutorials, I taught you how to make your own quilt binding. I also taught you how to make a quilt label using your domestic sewing machine. In this tutorial, we finish our easy baby quilt series by adding the binding and the quilt label. It is the perfect finishing touch to your quilt and also lets the recipient know when the quilt was made and by whom. For the binding, I am using 2 1/2 inch binding and using a zig zag stitch to apply the binding to the quilt. I am also using my ditch foot to ensure that everything is nice and straight on both the front and back of the quilt. The quilt label is machine sewn into the binding and then finished by hand sewing the edges that were not machine stitched down. Crafting made fun and easy!
