Ansonia striking clock 73 spring remade on hammer striking assembly

I had great difficulty in coming to terms with my Ansonia Style clock with its two broken adjustment springs, one on the hammer and the other, a very fine spring wire, on the main striking arbor. These were in need of replacement and I couldn't find them, so I had to learn how to make and fit them. In addition, I experienced a very steep learning curve putting the plates together and getting the movement to work properly - tell the time and striking. I hope that sharing this video with you, although not very succinct, may shed some light on this complicated movement, particularly, if it is the first time you have needed to clean, restore and - or repair it.
