Remembering Touch Gold

Touch Gold, winner of the 1997 Belmont Stakes, Lexington S and Haskell S, and a pedigree influence for stamina, spent his decade-long retirement at Old Friends. Along with Silver Charm, War Emblem, and Sarava, he brought us the prestige of racing's Triple Crown. This increased our ability to give less-famous racehorses the secure retirement they deserve. In himself, Touch Gold was tough, courageous and much larger than life. It was indeed an honor to know him.
