Mørk Byrde - THE WEIGHT OF UNNAMED THINGS (remastered & updated)

My bad that I have released this song before listening to it on monitor speakers (I only listened it with headphones). When I finally did listen it on speakers after the release, it felt a little bit off for me. I have re-recorded the voice in the second part, I changed the panning and the volume of the voice as it was a bit overwhelming so the instrumental part in the background was not clearly heard, I reduced the volume of the voice in the first part. Finally I have little bit changed the structure of the song in the secong part and recorded additional guitars there and at the end as well. This song explores the feeling of slowly drifting away from yourself. The distance grows, the noise fades, and what remains is a quiet sense of emptiness that becomes strangely familiar. It is about hopelessness, emotional fatigue, and the temptation to stop resisting the current. The river is a symbol of that pull: constant, patient, and always present beneath the surface. If you enjoy the darker side of Viking mythology and heavy, atmospheric doom metal, consider subscribing for more songs.
