Gardening Mistakes To Avoid In 2024 | What 2023 Taught Me About Growing Food

Growing your own food can be hard work and requires lots of patience. So finding out you made a mistake months later can be.... pretty discouraging. In this video I'll go through the mistakes I made in the vegetable garden this year, explain what I did wrong and give you my gardening tips and tell you how to avoid making the same garden mistakes next year. This was filmed over three weeks and the editing took a solid week. I did want to make a quick list video but in the end I went through the archive and used a lot of old footage. I also recreated a lot of old shots that you might recognise. There are some technical issues (the wind picked up) and some continuity issues (I had a hair cut). Despite the (somewhat elementary) problems, I've really enjoyed this year and this video is a tribute to the 2023 gardening season and to the videos put out on this channel too. There's a little announcement at the very end which I might cover in more depth in a later video. Thank you all for following along on my gardening journey and here's to 2024! And, as always, Happy Gardening!
