We Waited Days for This Sunset at Jackson Lake Dam

Photographing the Teton Range at Jackson Lake Dam. Join us as we chase the perfect sunset reflection over the mountains. Shelley and I headed out to the dam hoping for a break in the weather. When the clouds finally cooperate, the light across the water is unmatched. This session was all about patience and waiting for the right moment to capture those iconic mountain reflections. Even on days when the sky seems empty, adjusting your approach to landscape photography can lead to rewarding results. We walk through how we frame our shots and manage the changing conditions to get the most out of every scenic vista. Subscribe for more practical photography tips.
