Chris Wiseman (CURRENTS) - Defender of the Riff @ Aftershock '23

On this new episode of Defender of the Riff, Knotfest host Daniel Dekay talks to Chris Wiseman of metalcore heavyweights Currents. Chris discusses his early influences that lead him to learning the guitar, surrounded by a family of musicians at home. Talk about what goes on in the studio and how that's taken to the stage ensues, and the guys also chat about the business side of a band and all the skills that are required to go self-produced. Be prepared for a very nostalgic moment where Chris plays a few iconic riffs from the Guitar Hero era!   / sirwiseman     / daniel_dekay   Amps provided by: EVH Guitars provided by: ESP Cameras + Editing: Sean Say Audio: Ben Romsdahl On-site Producer: Cori Westbrook Created + Produced by: Daniel Dekay, Chris Hudson McLafferty & Matt Rushton Producer: Ramon Gonzales Social Editing: Maxime Cherrier Socials: Erica Perez OTHER EPISODES AVAILABLE NOW @ https://knotfest.com/pages/knotfest-p... -SLIPKNOT -THE GHOST INSIDE -VENDED -TESTAMENT -311 -ALPHA WOLF -HATEBREED -OV SULFUR -DRAIN Subscribe to KNOTFEST YouTube for exclusive performances & in-depth interviews with the most exciting artists in aggressive music, deep dives into iconic artists' discography, and more.
