SPOILER WARNING FOR THE GAME'S FINAL BOSS. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Sorry about not showing the cutscene with the final Dark Moon piece returning to the Bunker, but not Luigi. I wanted to show E-Bonus first before actually fighting King Boo.
Anyways, this is the final part of the Playthrough. In this part, we complete the final stage, "King Boo's Illusion: A Nightmare to Remember", along with watching the game's ending. Every Gem and Boo have been obtained.
This stage is essentially where you have your final battle, which is against King Boo. His fight is split into five phases:
Phase #1: In this phase, King Boo attacks with spike balls, a slam attack, and a dash attack. To damage King Boo here, you need to wait for him to slam the ground, then lure King Boo under a shadow of one of the falling spike balls. When you do this, turn around to make King Boo hide his face. The spike ball will land on King Boo's head, stunning him. When this happens, begin to suck up King Boo. He has 100 HP and should be easy to catch with the Super Poltergust.
Phase #2: King Boo will become gigantic and begin to chase Luigi. You need to run as quickly as you can while dodging obstacles, such as cabinets, armor, and platforms that will slow Luigi down. If King Boo hits Luigi, he'll take a bit of damage. When Luigi reaches the end of the obstacle course, the third phase begins.
Phase #3: Like Phase #1, you need to stun King Boo with spike balls, then try sucking him up, but this time, he'll make some of the floors slippery and some of them capable of slowing down Luigi a lot. Like the first phase, he has 100 HP.
Phase #4: Like Phase #2, King Boo will chase Luigi again, but the obstacle course is quite a bit trickier here, with many more things to dodge.
Phase #5: Like before, you need to stun King Boo and suck him up. Now, he will electricute some platforms, and like earlier, make some slippery or mucky. And like before, he has 100 HP. Just avoid the other spike balls while sucking up King Boo. After this phase, he will be defeated for good.
A question for the viewers:
If you were to have one of the ghosts in this game as a companion, which would it be? I would have a Polterpup, of course.
