How to Know the Church God Planted You In (5 Questions) | Dr Abel Damina How do you know the church you attend is where God planted you? In this Midweek Service, Dr. Abel Damina gives five clear, scripture-based questions to ask before you join or stay in a local church, so you can be persuaded, rooted and growing instead of drifting. In this message you will learn: • Why closeness to your house should not decide your church, and why the church you attend shapes your spiritual and mental health • Why music, ushers, programs and activities cannot replace growth in the knowledge of Christ • The five questions: spiritual growth through the Word, a prayer-driven church, a church in the will of God through evangelism, an atmosphere of love, joy and faith, and room for the gifts of the Spirit • Why the church is a house of prayer and not an all-purpose center, and why pastors must stay focused on what really matters • Apostle Prince and others on how Jesus builds His church, and a call to a daily culture of devotion Dr. Damina also answers a question many believers are asking: should Christians be afraid of what happens if they do not pay tithe? He walks through the three types of tithe in the Law, Malachi 3, Jesus’ words in Matthew 23, Galatians 3:13, and the New Testament pattern of cheerful, generous giving in 2 Corinthians 9:7. Key scriptures: Ephesians 4:11-15, Colossians 1:26-28, 1 Peter 2:2, 2 Peter 3:18, Acts 20:20, Jude 20, Ephesians 6:10-18, Mark 11:15-17, Galatians 3:13, 2 Corinthians 9:7.
