Smallest OPTO Sensor for Model Railways?

In this episode I look to see how small I can make a OPTO Sensor for Model railways. OPTO sensors are often used to detect a train. The train detection can do several things, it may be used to show on your panel what sidings are in use, or it maybe used to trigger a signal or activate a special effect or simply just as part of an automation system.
