Seii ▸ Corruption 【 Terraria Remix 】

Hey, guys! This is an usual game for me to remix, right? Terraria, the 2D Minecraft! (Watch Terraria fans come at me with 'but this is nothing like Minecraft! :0) ▾ About this Remix ▾ This track plays in the corruption biome of the game. The biome is supposedly 'evil' and spreads, turning normal terrain into corrupted one. The original track is quite mysterious, though upbeat. You could even say it's rather abstract. It's also rather short, which is part of the reason why I decided to remix it. The original doesn't have a lot of melody bits, being mostly sound effects to spook the player. I tried something different with this one! More dubstep-like, though not completely, since I'm not a big fan of the genre and 90% of so-called 'remixes' out there seem to be dubstep. I mixed this overused genre with electronic bits and my own usual composing habits, to create something less WOB WOB DODODOO and more melodic. I also mixed in a lot of orchestral parts to contrast the electronic bits... This is the first time in years I've composed something orchestral and I think I did a pretty good job with it; I feel like it adds drama and volume to the song.
