How to convert your CELPIP reading score into a CLB level or your English level

This video explains how to interpret CELPIP Reading scores and why practice results may not match test results. The teacher notes that the CELPIP score conversion uses a sliding scale, with 38 questions where aiming for CLB 9 typically requires more than 31 correct, and the speaker recommends a buffer such as 33 or higher because the scale can shift based on test difficulty. Teacher Anastasiia also emphasizes that score ranges are not guaranteed and that blanks count as incorrect, so all questions must be answered before time runs out. It is worth using the official CELPIP.ca chart for approximate Reading score to CLB level conversion and more targeted reading practice is encouraged.
