Sadly, Jon's cousin passed away, his uncle lost interest, and Jon took over the project. Jon faced variety of challenges during the 1969 Dodge Dart build, but eventually with the help of his father, he managed to transform the Mopar into the street/strip 9-second car his cousin would want. The 1969 Dodge Dart sports a 500 Mopar block with Brodix heads and COMP Cams paired with 727 trans and 4.56 geared 9" rear. Jon races the car in Bracket, Index & Quick 16 with best ET of 9.74 seconds at 134mph.
