Jailer 2 Characters: Biggest Disappointments & Best Surprises

Jailer 2 Characters: Hits & Misses | Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Shivanna & More Jailer 2 has a star-studded cast, memorable appearances, and characters that leave very different impressions. But which characters actually delivered, which ones surprised us, and which deserved better? In this Jailer 2 character analysis, I look beyond the star power to discuss the writing, character development, cameos, and directorial choices behind the film’s biggest hits and misses. We discuss Rajinikanth’s mass moments, Mohanlal’s brief appearance, Sooraj Venjaramoodu’s underutilized character, and why Moorthy stands out. I also look at Shivanna’s character arc, along with the contributions of SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, Hrithik Roshan, Yogi Babu, and other characters. Some characters make an impact because the film gives them the right material. Others have enormous potential but aren’t developed or utilized effectively. And some turn out to be unexpected highlights. This isn’t just about who had the biggest entry or the most screen time. It’s about why certain Jailer 2 characters work, why others don’t, and how the writing determines the difference. Which character was Jailer 2’s biggest surprise? Who disappointed you the most? And which character deserved better? Let me know in the comments!
