Recovering a failed train between Nottingham Road and Rosetta stations.

September 2021 A car train Durban bound have suffered a double locomotive failure on mainline 1 between Nottingham Road and Rosetta stations. A single class 18E locomotive were sent from Umbilo depot Durban to recover the train. Due to the class 18E locomotives been equipped with only one drivers cab and the recovery locomotive arriving with its drivers cab facing the wrong side, the driver had to shut and swap locomotives around at Nottingham Road station to allow a drivers cab facing in the right direction All locations and activities are indicated on the video.
