Juan-les-Pins is a resort town within the commune of Antibes in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France. Located on the French Riviera, it lies between Nice and Cannes, approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) southwest of Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. Juan-les-Pins is a popular holiday destination, known for attracting an international clientele with its casino, nightclubs, and sandy beaches. Île Saint-Honorat is the second largest of the Lérins Islands, situated about 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) offshore from Cannes on the French Riviera. The island is approximately 1.5 kilometers (0.93 miles) long from east to west and 400 meters (1,300 feet) wide. Since the 5th century, it has been home to a monastic community. Visitors can explore the Abbey of Lérins and the fortified monastery, which dates from the 15th century.
