Route Driving Croatia 🇭🇷 | Pakoštane to Zadar | Scenic Adriatic Coastal Road in September 2026 Join me on a scenic solo drive along Croatia’s famous D8 coastal road (Jadranska Magistrala) from Pakoštane to Zadar in September 2026. This beautiful journey follows the Adriatic coast through a combination of seaside towns, coastal villages, beaches, Mediterranean landscapes and spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. The D8 is one of Croatia’s most scenic roads, and this drive is all about enjoying the road, the scenery and the atmosphere rather than rushing to the destination. Starting in Pakoštane, the route heads north toward Zadar, passing through the coastal landscapes of northern Dalmatia. Along the way, you can see the changing scenery of the Adriatic coastline, small settlements, beaches, local roads and beautiful views toward the islands. The journey eventually reaches Zadar, one of Croatia’s most historic coastal cities. The drive finishes at [P] Liburnska obala 1 Parking, close to the waterfront in Zadar.
