Microtransactions are nearly always poor value but the microtransactions in Plants vs Zombies 3 are terrible. The game will force you to lose so you're more likely to spend your 'hard earned' coins on them. And once you do, you're sucked into the sunk cost fallacy which makes quitting much more difficult. Plants vs Zombies 3, in it's current state, is awful. It's the most transparent, contentless cash grab I have ever seen EA pull. Do yourself a favour, give this one a miss.
