The Third Day

The Third Day is an emotional Christian rock ballad about the suffering of Christ, the sorrow of the cross, the silence that followed, and the hope that came with the empty tomb. What looked like the end on Friday became victory on the third day. Through pain, grief, sacrifice, and darkness came resurrection, redemption, and the promise that death did not have the final word. Built with a sorrowful piano and clean electric opening, mature male vocal, slow powerful drums, haunting strings, and a gradual rise from grief into triumph, The Third Day is a song about faith holding on when everything looks lost.
