Avatar's Foreshadowing Is Actually INSANE

Every fan of this show says the same thing: it's well-planned. I wanted to know how far that actually goes. Turns out, further than I expected. Some of what gets set up in season one doesn't pay off until the finale. Some of it doesn't even pay off in this show. It resolves years later, in Legend of Korra, in a completely different series.
