UPDF Officer Leaks More Footages from Muhoozi’s Basement Where He Tortures Ugandans A new leak from UPDF officer Lt. Mabonga Herbert Matanda has brought more material from the basement detention site at Abayita Ababiri, along Entebbe Road, into public view. Alongside the footage, documents shown in this report record the names of Ugandans and non-Ugandans booked into the so-called “safe house”—a place linked to the abduction and torture of political figures, activists and other detainees. The list includes Sam Mugumya, Deputy President Muwanga Kivumbi, Deputy Presidents Lina Zedriga and Jolly Jacklyn Tukamushaba, Raymond Asiku, Gideon Tugume, Timothy Kalyegira, Christopher Zale, Hon. Miria Matembe, John Mary Ssebuwufu, Bright Muhumuza, Father Deusdedit Ssekabira, and Nazziwa Agatha, known as Blue Tick. It also names Kenyan brothers Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, Fauzia Natabi, wife of Comrade Najja Sherif, and Rwangomani Amos, the brother of Hon. Kahinda Otafiire. The records contain many more names—people whose stories have received little public attention. This report examines what the leaked material reveals, the names recorded in the documents, and the questions that remain about who was detained at the facility, why they were taken there, and what happened to them behind its walls. Among those named is Sam Mugumya, who has been missing for more than a year. Footage shows him wearing a T-shirt bearing President Museveni’s image. Comrades have described detainees being forced to wear Museveni-branded clothing and praise him on camera. Sam has suffered grave torture, including broken legs, and is now learning to walk again. For families still searching for missing loved ones, these are not just names in a leaked record. Each entry points to a person whose detention and treatment demand answers. The material released by Lt. Mabonga must be examined, the people named must be accounted for, and those responsible for abduction and torture must face justice. Watch the full report, share it, and help bring attention to Uganda’s disappeared detainees and the families still waiting for answers. Uganda will be free. #Uganda #LtMabonga #Muhoozi #SamMugumya #UgandaAbductions #HumanRights #AbayitaAbabiri #EntebbeRoad #MuwangaKivumbi #BobNjagi #BeyondWhatYouKnow#JBMuwonge #Bobiwine #JBMuwongetalkshow #uganda
