In this video we demonstrate how to do an iodine clock reaction using materials found around the home. All you need is vitamin C in some form, starch, iodine, and hydrogen peroxide (the last two can be found in the first aid section of any big store).
Here we show that this reaction can be done using vitamin tablets or orange juice, although it works better with the tablets.

SAFETY: Get adult supervision when using hydrogen peroxide and iodine. Do not swallow or let it come in contact with your eyes. In addition, iodine stains so be careful!
