Hubert Harry, (1927 -- 2010) born in Dalton-in-Furness, England, a child-prodigy, studied in Manchester from 1935 to 1946. He continued his studies under Edwin Fischer and Dinu Lipatti in Switzerland, where he was awarded international prizes and began a successful career as a concert pianist.
