The Message of Pluto

As of the day I'm uploading this video, it has been exactly 2 years since the release of the Pluto anime, the long awaited adaptation of the classic manga by Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki, which in turn was a reimagining of "The Greatest Robot on Earth" from Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy. To this day, Pluto and Astro firmly remain among my favourite stories of all time. And to commemorate the anniversary, I wanted to make a short analysis of the message of the story. It isn't in quite as much depth as I ideally would have liked, but I really wanted to get something out for the occasion. This series means way too much to me for me to not do anything.
