Walking Around Birnie Loch, Scotland | A Few Surprises Along the Way

We headed out together for a walk around Birnie Loch and Gaddon Loch in Scotland, expecting a peaceful day by the water. One particularly determined swan had other ideas. 😂🦢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 After being thoroughly investigated by the locals 😂, we continued walking around the lochs, discovering woodland paths, wildlife and some beautiful quiet spots along the way. Birnie Loch also has an interesting past. The area was once worked for sand and gravel before being transformed into the nature reserve we can enjoy today. We’re Jer & Julie, a couple who love getting out and exploring Scotland together — usually getting slightly distracted and seeing what we discover along the way. 😂 This time we spotted robins, ducks, swans and plenty of other wildlife, with the usual laughs and unexpected moments between the two of us.
