Max in Nashville to see Natalie Hemby’s show “The Truth About a Song” - what an experience. Beautiful, touching, hilarious & inspiring. Songs created by Natalie brought to life in front of our eyes. 2 and a half years ago Max had some kind of infection for ten days straight -fevers/lethargic, sore throat/ really frightening. Natalie saw a social media post I posted of Max loving Natalie Hemby’s music just prior to Max getting sick. Natalie reached out to me and asked if she could send Max some “goodies”. I gave Natalie our address and the next day I panicked thinking to myself - “oh no - this wasn’t Natalie this was probably some hoax. How could I be so stupid to give my address out over the internet.” Days later at the very end of Max’s illness we received a HUGE Crate & Barrel box from Natalie filled with Natalie t-shirts, signed albums personalized to Max, even a cassette of her album Pins & Needles! Also included was a Dolly Parton cd as Natalie said in her note to Max “Dolly was her favorite”. Now Max is a fan of Dolly’s! Max got over his illness right after receiving this lovely gesture from Natalie. Maybe music really has healing power…thank you Natalie for being so kind and sweet to Max 🙂❤️🎶🎵
