Board of Supervisors Hearing: Lionville Station Road - Rockwell Development LLC (Part 1)

The Uwchlan Township Board of Supervisors will be holding a Hearing about plans being considered by Rockwell Downingtown, LLC (Rockwell) for the School District Property on Lionville Station Road. This includes: A Zoning Amendment Proposal to establish a Planned Residential Development (PRD) -1 Zoning Overlay on the property A Tentative Planned Residential Development Plan consisting of 492 homes, more than 100 acres of open space, and a natatorium (swimming pool) and nature trail. MEETING DETAILS When: July 23, 27 and (if needed) 29, between 6pm and 10pm Location: 715 N. Ship Road. Exton PA 19341 WHAT TO EXPECT On July 23, Rockwell Downingtown, LLC will be given time to present on the plans they are considering. The Township Board of Supervisors and the Township’s consultants will be able to ask questions of Rockwell about the plans. We anticipate the presentations and questions will take the full time allocated. On July 27, any follow-up presentation and questions and answers will take place, followed by an opportunity for public comments. July 29 has been scheduled but will only be necessary if we are unable to complete the public comment time. Following the close of the hearing, the Board will consider the applications in accordance with applicable legal requirements. The Board will decide whether to approve the Zoning Amendment and, under the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, has up to 60 days following the close of the hearing to render a decision on the Tentative Planned Residential Development Plan.
