LIVE: The People's AI Assembly

It’s time for us to build a movement in response to AI that empowers working people, enriches our communities, and enhances our collective well-being. Rather than accept the vision offered by the corporate AI industry, we can use this political moment to expand our imagination of what is possible. With our cohost AI Now, we’re bringing together leading organizers, cultural figures, and policy leaders shaping the frontlines of AI. Special guests include: Bhairavi Desai, Ilana Glazer, Lorena Gonzalez, Karen Hao, Lina Khan, Naomi Klein, Grandell “Bird” Logan, KeShaun Pearson, Matthew Rodriguez, Arundhati Roy, Noam Scheiber, Jasmine Sun, music by KOTA the Friend… and more to be announced! ----- More Perfect Union is an Emmy-winning, nonprofit newsroom whose mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means: We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective. We attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions. We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power. And we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.
