The village was submerged when Ladybower Reservoir was created, and its remains can sometimes be seen when water levels fall. With minimal commentary, this video is mainly about enjoying the ride, taking in the scenery and exploring this fascinating part of the Peak District by hardtail e-bike. It's a gentle, scenic ride rather than a hardcore MTB adventure, so sit back, relax and enjoy the Yorkshire/Peak District countryside, the reservoir views and the unusual opportunity to see the remains of the lost village of Derwent.
