Hugh Hopper Elton Dean Keith Tippett Joe Gallivan Stadt Theatre, Radio Bremen 1977

Some English jazz for you, with Hugh Hopper and Elton Dean of Soft Machine, Keith Tippett of early King Crimson fame, and token American Joe Gallivan (you never heard of him? Look him up on Wikipedia. Played with Dolphy among many others). This is a German radio broadcast. There is a poor quality video on YouTube of this performance of Naima. Tippett to me is the star here. His piano playing is simply gorgeous.
