Shadow Creek is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful ranches in Colorado. Riata Trail at Shadow Creek Ranch is one of 22 member homesteads sharing ownership of a 5,835±-acre working cattle ranch. The three-bedroom, 3,243 sq. ft. home and 4,910 sq. ft. party barn are sited for dramatic alpine vistas. Ranch members can be as actively involved in roundups and other cattle operations as they want to be or they can just kick back and be pampered by the ranch’s full-time concierge and wrangler staff. Members either can have their own horses on their individual homestead or a ranch cowboy will bring a saddled one from the ranch herd to ride on many miles of trails through meadow and forest. Ranch staff also serve as big game hunting or trout fishing guides on the Gold Medal waters of the Blue River that run through the ranch. A full-time chef and wait staff are on hand for gourmet meals in the luxurious lodge dining room. Trap, skeet, a rifle range, ski and sledding hills, an indoor riding arena and numerous spring fed trout ponds round out recreational opportunities on the ranch.
