I Bought a Used Tesla Model 3 Performance. Now I Get It.

I bought a used Tesla Model 3 Performance 7 months ago, and after putting roughly 8,000 miles on it, I have a lot to say about the ownership experience. In this Tesla Model 3 Performance review, I break down what it has actually been like owning a used Tesla — including charging costs, Full Self-Driving (FSD), range, road trips, white interior durability, maintenance, depreciation, performance, tires, wheels, and whether I would buy another Tesla. I originally sold my truck and bought this Model 3 Performance used with around 20,000 miles for roughly $40,000 — significantly less than what I was considering spending on a new one. Seven months later, the car has crossed 30,000 miles. Some of the biggest surprises have been how well the white Tesla interior has held up, how often I use Full Self-Driving, how inexpensive home charging can be compared with Supercharging, and how little routine maintenance the car has required. But ownership hasn't been perfect. The biggest issue has been the Model 3 Performance's low-profile tires and wheels. In only seven months, I've replaced all four tires and all four wheels — and they're definitely not cheap.
