HOW TO MAKE Double Dutch Cherry Muffins from Frankenweenie | Feast of Fiction

Today we're treating you with this scary delicious Double Dutch Cherry Muffin from Frankenweenie! No tricks in this recipe, simple, easy and scrumptious! INGREDIENTS: Muffins: 1 cup sugar 2 cups flour 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda ¾ cup butter, melted ½ cup milk 3/4 cup canned cherries, chopped 12 maraschino cherries for topping Double Cream Frosting: 8 ounce package cream cheese 1/2 cup butter softened 1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract INSTRUCTIONS 1. Cut the cherries into small pieces. 2. In a large bowl, add the flour, baking soda, and sugar and stir to combine the dry ingredients. Add the eggs, milk and cherries. Mix well. 3. Pour the mixture into a muffin tray and bake for 30 minutes. 4. Make the frosting: In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add the vanilla extract, and gradually stir in the powdered sugar. 5.
