Is THIS What Lawn Care Crews Will Look Like in the Future? KRESS Voyager Lawn Mowers

The brand-new Kress Commercial Voyager 60-inch autonomous mower could change how small lawn care businesses think about growing. I traveled to New Jersey to see the new Kress Voyager 60 in action and learn exactly how this commercial autonomous mower works. The Voyager combines a 60-inch cutting deck with autonomous technology including RTK, LiDAR, cameras and sensors. According to Kress in the video, it can mow up to 19 acres or run for 8.5 hours on one charge. You can map a property once, save it, change mowing patterns through the Kress Commercial app, and let the mower work autonomously. You can also jump on and operate it like a traditional stand-on mower. But I'm looking at this from a lawn care business owner's perspective. It's me and Captain Jack running our mowing operation. Instead of automatically assuming growth means hiring more employees, could autonomous equipment eventually allow us to split up and essentially create two crews with the people we already have? That's what makes this mower so interesting to me. Would you trust a Kress autonomous mower on your lawn care route? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
