He's played rhythm guitar on Koko Taylor's career retrospective for Alligator Records alongside Buddy Guy and Carey Bell, and was mentored by Otis Clay and Mighty Joe Young. A mainstage staple at Kingston Mines for over four decades, he's also played House of Blues, Buddy Guy's Legends, and Rosa's Lounge, taken the stage internationally in Brazil, Japan, France, Argentina, and Mexico, and led a commissioned performance series for the Chicago Public Library System. He's a 2025 Chicago Reader "Best of Chicago" nominee for Best Blues Band and Best Individual Blues Musician.
