Red Sand Fever (Stoner Rock)

"The sun is a hammer, beating on my skull..." 🌵 The Story: This is Track 01 of the new album Badtrip - Badlands. We left the humidity of the swamp behind, but the devil followed us to the desert. "Red Sand Fever" sets the scene—waking up lost, dehydrated, and surrounded by nothing but red dust. It establishes the new sound for this era: heavy fuzz, stomping rhythms, and a heat that you can feel through the speakers. The water is gone, and the hallucinations are just starting. 💿 Support the Music: 🎵 You can now own the full 'Bad Trip - Badlands' album in high-quality uncompressed Audio (WAV/FLAC) here: https://anthony-deadeye-shop.fourthwa... 🦂 Stream the full "Badtrip - Badlands" Playlist:    • Badtrip - Badlands | Stoner /Heavy Blues /...   Style: Stoner Rock | Desert Blues | Heavy Fuzz Wall of Sound Lyrical Themes: Heatstroke, Hallucinations, The Open Road LYRICS: I left the water behind me, I left the cypress trees I left the water behind me, I left the cypress trees Now I’m walking through a canyon on my hands and knees The sun is a hammer, beating on my skull The sun is a hammer, beating on my skull The colors are getting bright and the pain is getting dull I got the Red Sand Fever, burning in my brain I got the Red Sand Fever, driving me insane I’d sell my soul to the devil for a single drop of rain I see a city in the distance, shining like a gem I see a city in the distance, shining like a gem But when I try to touch it, it fades away again The buzzards are circling, waiting for the fall The buzzards are circling, waiting for the fall I think I hear the desert giving me a call There ain't no water here. There ain't no mercy here. Just the dust... and the ghosts....
