POV: Surviving a Full Shift as a Large Animal Vet tech | Raw Pov Video

Today I’m working at a semi-intensive cattle farm where we have one main job: vaccinating the cattle and calves. What starts as a normal farm vet day quickly becomes much more unpredictable. I begin by exploring the farm, checking the feed, water supply, silage and cornfield before heading into the milking area and calf barn. Then it’s time to start vaccinating the cattle. Handling adult cows is never completely predictable. Some cows try to run, some hide their necks from the needle, and one calf even manages to send me into the wall. But the biggest problem comes later. While moving the cattle into position for vaccination, one cow escapes. Then, during the vaccination process, another cow suddenly jumps toward me and nearly crushes me against the milking chute. This is real Farm Vet POV work. No script, no staged scenes, just a chest-mounted camera, livestock, vaccination equipment and whatever happens on the farm. I also share my thoughts on cattle handling and why I don't support using unnecessary force when moving or restraining animals.
