How businessman swindled a Chinese firm over 156 M with a fake mineral deal

Chief Magistrate Dolphina Alego has convicted Lumumba Ulundu for defrauding a Chinese company of Ksh156 million. The court found that Ulundu falsely claimed he would supply 84 metric tonnes of tantalite, leading the company to part with the money. He was found guilty of obtaining the funds through fraudulent misrepresentation.
