Hiking one of the Highest Peaks on the Southern AT!

Join me for another solo section hike along the Appalachian Trail, pushing from Mooney Gap to White Oak Stamp campsite and tackling the climb over Standing Indian Mountain (elevation 5,499 ft)! Standing Indian Mountain is easily one of the highlights of the Southern AT, offering rich canopy stretches, steep climbs, and incredible summit views across the Southern Nantahala Wilderness. Follow along as I take on the elevation gain, navigate the trail, and check off another beautiful stretch of the AT.
