🍂 Fall plans, but make them mini! 🍎✨ Renee Day (@thediyday) turned a fall bucket list into the cutest little keepsake using the We R Makers Envelope Punch Board! From tiny handmade envelopes to pull-out cards for pumpkin picking, hayrides, bonfires and more, every page is ready for a new fall memory. 🧡 Such a fun way to make your autumn adventures part of the craft! Here are the instructions from Renee: Fall Bucket List Mini Journal To make this project I used the WeR’s Envelope Punch Board, the Trim & Score Board, the Word Punch Board, and a variety of American Crafts papers by Jen Hadfield (Peaceful Heart collection). I started this project by making five gift card sized envelopes on the Envelope Punch Board. Then I made the front and back covers for the mini journal. I wanted the covers to be a bit durable, so I used paperboard (think cereal or pasta boxes). Rather than keep the plain paperboard appearance, I covered the inside portion of the cover with green striped patterned paper. The dimensions for the cover are slightly larger than the gift card envelopes, 3 7/8” x 2.5”. I used another patterned paper design for the front cover of the journal. I made the dimensions for this a little bit larger (4” x 4 3/16”) so ¼” could wrap around to the other side of the cover. Next, I used the WeR Trim & Score Board to create an accordion fold to house the envelopes. The paper size I used was 5”x 3 5/8” and I made a score every half inch. I added hot glue to the front bottom portion of each envelope and placed each one into the valley of the accordion fold. Then I added the front and back covers. For the last step I hot glued a spine (sized 3 7/8” x 1 ¾”) from the front to the back of the journal cover, approximately 1/4” on each edge. Now it’s time to add decorations to the mini journal. I added some leaf embellishments to go along with the fall theme, a tie made from bakers twine, as well as some journaling cards using the WeR Word Punch Board. The cards serve as reminders of items on the bucket list, but they also provide an area to write special memories from the day. And let’s not forget, the envelopes themselves are a great place to add pocket-sized pictures and other mementos. I hope this DIY provides some inspiration to any journal enthusiasts as well as anyone needing some fun fall craft ideas. Happy Fall Y’all!
