Breanna & Jesse celebrated their beautiful wedding on May 3, 2025, in Joliet, Illinois, with a traditional Mexican Catholic ceremony at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, followed by an unforgettable reception at The Grand Ballroom. Surrounded by approximately 140 family members and friends, their celebration brought together meaningful traditions, heartfelt moments, and plenty of music and dancing. Their love story began at a mutual friend's birthday brunch in Chicago, where they immediately connected. What Breanna didn't realize at first was that Jesse would soon be moving back to North Carolina! Despite the unexpected distance, their connection continued to grow, and they made their long-distance relationship work. Years later, they gathered their favorite people together to celebrate the next chapter of their lives. Their wedding day beautifully honored their Mexican heritage and Catholic faith. During the ceremony, their padrinos (godparents) participated in meaningful traditions involving the wedding rings, lasso, coins, cross, and rosary. Following the ceremony, guests gathered at The Grand Ballroom in downtown Joliet, where a mariachi band provided music during cocktail hour and dinner before the DJ took over for an evening of celebration. From their first dance and heartfelt speeches to the traditional money dance and lively reception, Breanna and Jesse's wedding reflected their playful personalities, love for adventure, and appreciation for family.
