The solubility product constant, Ksp, and molar solubility, s, are discussed. The molar solubility for sodium chloride, silver chloride, and lead (II) chloride are calculated. RICE tables and particle views are also used to compare the solubility of these three salts or ionic compounds. The three salts are then compared by their solubility and ranked in terms of the least soluble to the most soluble. This is typically done for slightly soluble salts.
