Oxbow Public Market & Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Culinary Garden at Copia - Walking Tour

This is still day 2 of our NorCal Adventures Summer 2026. Recorded using Rayban Meta Glasses and DJI Osmo Pocket 3. We made several stops since leaving Tulare in the morning. By the time we arrived in Napa, it was almost 6 p.m. Since we didn’t have any specific plans, we decided to do some random things. While we were driving around downtown, we noticed a group of electric scooters. We stopped to inquire, unfortunately they were booked for the day. It’s a guided tour and the name of the scooter company is Napa Valley Rydables. They provide guided tours that include visits to historic landmarks and local wineries, making it an enjoyable experience for all ages. My son even expressed his desire to have a bite before we checked into our hotel. After our two kids savored their Sumo Hotdogs, we continued exploring the area. Oxbow Public is a 40,000 square-foot indoor marketplace featuring local and regional artisan food and wine vendors and restaurants. The market leases space to owner- operated businesses that focus primarily on sustainable local foods Our curiosity led us to a small grapevine in the middle of a parking lot, which eventually led us to a tranquil spot. There’s a public garden at the Culinary Institute of America that’s free to visit. This culinary garden is conveniently located just across from the parking lot from the Oxbow Food Market. After several hours being on the road, it was nice to stretch out and enjoy the garden until it was time to check in at our hotel (30 minutes away in Fairfield).
