Ep.1:    • Before the Electrics Invade Ep.1 | Pure Di...   The Bangalore - Mysore line is now fully doubled and electrified, and it is only a matter of a few days until trains start running with electric locomotives here. The first train to do so will in all probability be the 12007/8 Chennai-Mysore-Chennai Shatabdi Express. After over 20 years with diesel traction, this train will run end-to-end with electric traction shortly. Today's outing was another attempt to capture these trains in their diesel glory - I have been seeing these trains even before this line got a single OHE pole so the knowledge that these will be running with the monotonous WAP4s and WAP7s is a little disheartening.
