Khatmah | Final Recitation & Ijazah of Zain Hanid & Junaid Noor Upon Shaykh Muhammad Ziyad Batha

In the esteemed presence of renowned Qur’anic scholar Shaykh Dr Mohammad Fouad Abdul Majid of Egypt, Qari Zain Hanid and Qari Junaid Noor completed their recitation of the Qur’an upon Shaykh Muhammad Ziyad Batha in the Riwayah of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, through the Tariq of al-Shatibiyyah. Hosted at MCWAS, the ceremony marked the culmination of a three-year journey of dedicated study, recitation and refinement, bringing together scholars, teachers, relatives and friends. A Khatmah and Ijazah mark not merely the completion of a journey, but the beginning of a lifelong trust: to preserve the Qur’an upon the tongue, embody it through one’s character, and transmit it faithfully to generations yet to come. May Allah accept their efforts, reward their teachers and families, and grant Qari Zain and Qari Junaid sincerity, steadfastness and continued service to His Book. Ameen.
