Tiger Cubs #tigercubs

The Cleveland Metropark Zoo has three Tiger cubs. They are 16 months old in this video. Normally, this would be the time to prepare the cubs to move to new zoos. Luka, the male cub, was just moved to the Minnesota Zoo! With fewer than 500 Amur tigers in the wild, it is hoped that Luka can help with future breeding opportunities in the years ahead. Good Luck to Luka. To see our other two cubs before they go, get down to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo soon. (Anya is an Amur Tiger, Indrah is a Malayan Tiger.) Hector came to Cleveland in November 2017 from Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England. The Zoo Facebook page mentioned him being 2 years old on July 27, 2017. Zoya came to Cleveland in December 2019 at the age of 4, from the Odense Zoo in Denmark. The Conservation status of Amur Tigers is "endangered". The Conservation status of Malayan Tigers is "Critically Endangered". One site you can visit for full details about Tiger conservation is https://eia-international.org/wildlif... The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is one of just 230 zoos that is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. To earn an AZA accreditation a zoo must keep their standards high to help ensure proper care and safety for people and animals. #tigers, #amur tigers, #zooanimals,#tigercubs,#zooanimals,#wildlife,#clevelandzoo,#cuteanimals, #larrysanimalsafari #endangeredspecies
