I flew to Florida to buy my camper after finding it about $5,000 cheaper than what my local dealership wanted—but saving money wasn't the biggest lesson God was teaching me. There was a time when I would have focused on one thing: “Can I afford the monthly payment?” God had to teach me how to better manage my money and credit, count the true cost, and communicate with the Holy Spirit before making financial decisions. By the time I bought this camper, I walked into the dealership with my own bank pre-approval and an interest rate under 5%. When the dealership offered to stretch the loan to give me a lower monthly payment, I was finally in a position to understand that a smaller payment doesn't necessarily mean something costs less. In this video, I'm sharing the whole journey—from shopping for campers with my niece, finding the better deal in Florida and flying down to buy it, to finally bringing my camper home.
