June 2026 Bujo Setup 🌿📚 | Botanist’s Secret Library | No sketch gouache painting, green academia 🌱

Welcome to the Botanist’s Secret Library. 🕯️📜 Step into the green academia and dark academia aesthetic for June 2026. In this video, I’m building a Botanist’s Secret Library in my bullet journal, using no-sketch gouache process to create a lush forest sanctuary. For this setup, I decided to stop trying to follow the "rules" that were making me feel pressured to be a certain kind of "proper" artist. This month is a full embracing of improvisational gouache painting, magical maximalism, and finding true creative freedom. In all honesty, I’m still navigating the reality of ongoing daycare germs and a cough that seems to linger forever, but this setup was a healing space for me. I now balance these high-detail, artsy spreads where I get to enjoy my creative sanctuary with functional, simple planning (such as using the Alastair method) to keep my life as a mom organized without burning out. If you’re looking for a quiet corner of the internet to explore art and bujo without the pressure of perfection, or just want a place to unwind peacefully, I’d love to have you here. ❤️ We are so close to reaching our 1,000 subscriber milestone and it would mean the world to have you join this creative sanctuary. ✨ 🕒 Chapters: 0:00 Painting the botanist’s library 2:37 Concepts and world building 6:00 Finding creative freedom 9:30 Sparkly highlights 11:46 Functional weeklies (Alastair method) 12:44 Flip through Frequently used materials: Tsuki ‘Lucky Dreamland’ Lucky Bag 2026 Notebook Therapy Tsuki Four Seasons: Autumn Collector’s Edition 2023 Bullet Journal https://notebooktherapy.com/products/...
